1. INTRODUCTION AND ACCEPTANCE
Welcome to Seer, an offline-first salon management platform for salons and spas in Tamil Nadu, India.
These Terms of Service ("Terms", "Agreement") govern your access to and use of the Seer Progressive Web Application and website (collectively, the "Service") provided by Indraveen Technologies.
By creating an account, installing the app, or using any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
2. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT REQUIREMENTS
2.1 Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Service.
Important: Seer is designed for salon/spa business owners and involves managing staff data, services, and commission calculations.
2.2 Account Registration
To use the Service, you must:
- Provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration
- Provide a valid email address (this will be your login credential as the salon owner)
- Create a strong password or authenticate via Google OAuth
- Provide your salon name and address
- Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate
2.3 Account Security
You are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your password and login credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- All staff accounts created under your salon
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
- Logging out from shared or public devices
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to secure your account. You agree to immediately notify us at support@indraveentech.in if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
2.4 One Account Per Salon
Each salon/spa business may maintain only one active owner account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits, extend free trials, or evade payment obligations is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of all associated accounts without refund.
3. SERVICE DESCRIPTION
3.1 What Seer Provides
Seer is an offline-first Progressive Web Application (PWA) that enables salons and spas to:
- Track services performed by staff members
- Calculate staff commissions automatically
- Generate weekly settlement reports
- Record customer service history (optional)
- Work offline (staff devices) and sync automatically when online
- Export business data in XLSX format even after subscription expires
- Manage multiple staff members with individual offline-capable logins
- Maintain complete audit trail (no deletion, only cancellation of services)
3.2 Offline-First Architecture
Seer is designed specifically for staff to work without internet connectivity.
Owner Account:
- Requires internet connection to login and access data
- Data is stored on our servers
- Can be accessed from any device
Staff Accounts:
- Work completely offline after initial setup
- Data is stored locally on staff devices using browser IndexedDB
- Automatically syncs to server when internet connection is available
- Requires accessing the app at least couple of times while online for proper offline functionality
Important: You are responsible for ensuring staff devices sync regularly when online. We are not liable for data loss due to device failure, browser data clearing, or failure to sync.
3.3 Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable and continuous access to the Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance (we will notify you in advance when possible)
- Emergency maintenance or security updates
- Third-party infrastructure issues (Railway, Neon Database, Cloudflare)
- Force majeure events (natural disasters, internet outages, etc.)
We make reasonable efforts to maintain service uptime but do not provide specific Service Level Agreements (SLAs) at this time. As a start-up, we rely on third-party infrastructure providers and cannot guarantee 100% uptime.
4. SUBSCRIPTION PLANS AND PRICING
4.1 Available Plans
Seer provides various subscription tiers, including Free Trial and paid plans. Comprehensive details regarding the specific features and limitations for each plan are displayed on our Pricing Page. We retain the right to amend the features and limitations associated with these plans. Any such modifications shall become effective for your account at the commencement of your subsequent billing cycle.
Current Pricing: For current subscription prices, billing cycles, and any promotional offers, please visit our website. All prices are inclusive of applicable GST at 18% and are listed in Indian Rupees (INR).
Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified of price changes via email at least 30 days before the new pricing takes effect. Price changes will apply only after your current billing period ends. You may cancel your subscription before the price change takes effect if you do not agree to the new pricing.
4.2 Pricing and GST
- All prices displayed on our website are inclusive of 18% GST as per current Indian tax laws
- GST rates are set by the Government of India and may change without notice
- If GST rates change, we will adjust pricing accordingly to remain compliant with tax laws
- Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR)
4.3 Free Trial Terms
- The 14-day free trial is available once per salon business
- No credit card is required to start the trial
- Trial includes access to all features with limits (10 staff accounts, 2 shops)
- Trial automatically expires after 14 days
- To continue using the Service after trial expiration, you must subscribe to a paid plan
- Creating multiple accounts to extend free trial is prohibited and may result in account termination
4.4 Billing and Payment
- Subscriptions are billed in advance (monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, or yearly basis)
- Billing occurs on the same day each period
- Payments are processed securely through Razorpay Payment Gateway
- We do not store your credit card, debit card, or bank account details
- All payment information is handled directly by Razorpay (PCI-DSS compliant)
4.5 Auto-Renewal
- All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
- You will receive an email notification 7 days before your subscription renews
- You are responsible for cancelling your subscription before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue
- If your payment method fails during auto-renewal, we will attempt to process payment again according to Razorpay's retry schedule
4.6 Payment Failures
If a subscription payment fails:
- Razorpay will automatically retry payment processing (typically 3-4 attempts over several days)
- You will receive email notifications about failed payment attempts
- If all retry attempts fail, your account will be downgraded to read-only access
- In read-only mode, you can view and export data but cannot log new services
- To restore full access, you must update your payment method and manually reactivate your subscription
4.7 Subscription Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard
- Upon cancellation, you retain full access until the end of your current billing period
- Your subscription will not auto-renew after the current period ends
- No refunds will be issued for the remaining time in your billing period

4.8 Account Access After Subscription Expires
Important Feature: Even after your subscription expires, you can still:
- Login to your account
- View all your historical data
- Export your entire data in XLSX format
- You will NOT be able to log new services or add staff
This ensures you never lose access to your business data.
5. USER RESPONSIBILITIES
5.1 Salon Owner Responsibilities
As the salon owner, you are responsible for:
- Managing staff accounts (creation, deactivation)
- Setting up services and commission rates correctly
- Ensuring staff devices have the Seer PWA properly installed
- Training staff on how to use Seer
- Reviewing weekly settlement reports
- Settling staff commissions as per your agreement with them
- Maintaining accurate business records
- Ensuring staff devices sync data when online
5.2 Data Accuracy
You are responsible for:
- The accuracy of all data you enter into Seer
- Service details, prices, and commission calculations
- Customer information (if you choose to collect it)
- Staff names and contact information
We are not responsible for any business decisions made based on inaccurate data entry.
5.3 Prohibited Uses
You may NOT use Seer to:
- Store illegal, fraudulent, or harmful content
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise the Service
- Share your account with unauthorized users
- Create fake service records for fraudulent purposes
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data beyond the export feature
5.4 Staff Device Security
Since staff devices store data locally for offline functionality:
- You are responsible for ensuring staff devices are secured with PIN/password
- You must ensure staff do not leave devices unlocked in public areas
- You should enable device-level encryption if possible
- You acknowledge that local data is not encrypted at rest by the Seer app
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
6.1 Ownership
Indraveen Technologies owns all rights, title, and interest in the Seer application, including:
- Source code, design, and functionality
- Trademarks, logos, and branding
- Documentation and training materials
- Algorithms and commission calculation logic
6.2 License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Seer for your salon business operations during your subscription period.
This license does NOT allow you to:
- Resell, sublicense, or distribute Seer
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works
- Reverse engineer or decompile the application
- Remove or modify any proprietary notices
6.3 Your Data
You retain all rights to your business data entered into Seer:
- Customer records
- Service history
- Staff information
- Commission records
You grant us a limited license to process this data solely to provide the Service to you.
7. DATA EXPORT AND PORTABILITY
7.1 Export Rights
You can export your data at any time:
- In XLSX (Excel) format
- Including all services, staff records, commissions, customer data
- Even after your subscription expires
7.2 Export Process
Go to Settings → Backup → Export Data to generate a comprehensive XLSX file of all your business data.
8. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
Your use of Seer is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

- We process staff and customer data on your behalf (you are the Data Fiduciary)
- We are the Data Fiduciary for your salon owner account data

9. DISCLAIMERS
9.1 "AS IS" Service
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We disclaim all warranties including:
- Merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement of third-party rights
- Uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation
- Accuracy or reliability of commission calculations (you must verify)
9.2 No Tax or Legal Advice
Seer is a tool for managing salon operations. It is NOT:
- Tax preparation software
- Legal or financial advice
- A substitute for professional accounting services
You are responsible for complying with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
9.3 Commission Calculations
While Seer automates commission calculations:
- You are responsible for setting up correct commission rates
- You must verify calculations before settling with staff
- We are not liable for disputes arising from commission calculations
- Final settlement decisions rest with you as the salon owner
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
10.1 Limitation of Damages
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INDRAVEEN TECHNOLOGIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Staff disputes or commission disagreements
- Data loss due to device failure or failure to sync
- Service downtime or unavailability
10.2 Maximum Liability
Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of Seer shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10.3 Exceptions
These limitations do not apply to:
- Our gross negligence or willful misconduct
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Liability that cannot be excluded by Indian law
11. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Indraveen Technologies from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any laws or regulations
- Staff disputes or commission disagreements
- Customer data protection violations
- Your failure to secure staff devices
- Unauthorized access due to your negligence
12. MODIFICATIONS TO SERVICE AND TERMS
12.1 Service Changes
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.
12.2 Terms Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via:
- Email to your registered email address (30 days advance notice)
- Prominent notice in the app
Continued use of Seer after Terms changes constitutes acceptance.
13. TERMINATION
13.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by:
- Cancelling your subscription from your account dashboard
- Emailing us at support@indraveentech.in with subject "Account Deletion Request"
Upon termination:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period
- You can export your data before termination takes effect
- After termination, you have 30 days of read-only access
- After 30 days, your account will be deactivated (data retained for 7 years for tax compliance)
13.2 Termination by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without refund, if:
- You violate these Terms of Service
- You engage in illegal activities using the Service
- You commit payment fraud or use stolen payment methods
- You create multiple accounts to evade payment or extend free trials
- You abuse or harass our support staff
- You attempt to hack or compromise the Service
- Your account remains in payment failure status for more than 30 days
13.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your license to use the Service is immediately revoked
- You must stop using the Service and uninstall the PWA from all devices
- Server-side data will be retained for 7 years for tax compliance, then anonymized
- You remain liable for any outstanding payment obligations
14. DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND GOVERNING LAW
14.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
14.2 Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
14.3 Dispute Resolution Process
Before filing any legal action, you agree to first attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us at support@indraveentech.in. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days.
15. GENERAL PROVISIONS
15.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Indraveen Technologies regarding the Service.
15.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
15.3 Assignment
You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms to any successor entity.
15.4 Notices

15.5 Language
These Terms are written in English. If we provide a translation (such as Tamil), the English version shall prevail in case of any conflict.
